M&S Food have just opened their largest store in the Peel Centre. Next door are Wilkos and Home Bargains.

The former Comet store Image on the retail park at Portwood is now home to TK-Maxx who formerly had a store in the Courts building on Warren Street Image

The bookshop Borders has gone into liquidation and there is a sale on at the Stockport branch in the Peel Centre Image This store also houses a Starbucks, Game and other concessions, so what will happen to them when the store closes remains to be seen. In the background is St Marys Parish Church.
