Warren Street
Work on repairing the structures around Lancashire Bridge has been ongoing for around year. The remedial work is complete and Warren Street is open to traffic. A public area viewing area is being created from which the bridge and the river can be seen before it disappears again under Merseyway Shopping Centre.

The Courts Lift
The former Stockport Magistrates Court was converted into a 5-storey shopping and leisure complex in 2003/4. An outside lift was installed which provides movement for shoppers from Warren Street and via the upper level store into Castle Yard Image and the Market Place. TK-Maxx Image occupied the top storeys until they moved into the former Comet store in the Peel Centre Image The space was taken over by Sports Direct.

Jessops, Stockport
The Stockport branch of Jessops on Warren Street closed on January 11th 2013 along with its other 186 branches. The following Monday staff were behind the half-closed shutters packing away the contents. A large notice Image proclaiming "This store is now CLOSED" and referring customers to the Jessops.com website for further information states "The Jessops Stockport Team would like to thank you on a personal level for all of your support and custom over the years".
