A charity shop on Prince's Street for The National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline http://breastcancergenetics.co.uk/ The premises were previously occupied the shoe shop Stead & Simpsons. On the right is a pedestrian entrance to the Merseyway Shopping Centre.

Trapped footpath signpost
This signpost on the corner of Brown Street and Prince's Street is now trapped inside one of the site offices Image for the Redrock development. It can be glimpsed through a small gap in the fencing. The finger reading Gt. Egerton St seems to pointing in the wrong direction.

One of the frogs on the Stockport Frog Trail. "Representing Girlguiding Stockport, This Little Guiding Frog of Mine is perfectly perched here in Suffragette Square, watching over the visitors, thinking of others before herself and doing a good turn every day. " Sponsored by Girlguiding Stockport https://girlguidingstockport.org.uk/ and created by Kirsty Brown https://www.kirstypropsscenicart.co.uk/ As part of the Redrock Development a new square was created on the site of demolished shops on the corner of Brown Street Image and Prince's Street. Despite running a poll asking people for suggestions to name the new square after a famous Stopfordian the council chose to call it Suffragete Square instead.
