Christ Church, Macclesfield
Built in 1775 and funded by local industrialist Charles Roe. An impressive Georgian church built to serve the expanding population of the town with the growth of the silk industry. No longer in regular use, and maintained by the Churches Conservation Trust. Listed Grade II*.
