Old Milepost by the A54, west of Cluelow Cross
Cast iron post by the A54, in parish of Wincle (Macclesfield District), Cluelow Cross, on grass verge, back to wire fence, on North side of road. Cast iron CCC1896, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.

Cleulow Cross near Wincle
One of the finest examples of a Saxon Cross in Cheshire and stands on a small wooded hill. Please note that this is on private ground and permission is required if you wish to visit it.

Rossen Clough Head
Extensive upland pasture for sheep and cattle. The A54 just intrudes on RH edge and Brooms Farm nestles in its hollow and Shutlingsloe peeks above the far ridge. An over-enthusiastic cartographer has decreed on the location display for this square (on Geograph) that the preponderance of individual wind-powered generators on most farms amounts to a wind-farm!
