Bridge No 46 across the Macclesfield Canal carries a public footpath between Gawend Lane (off to the right) with Turf Lane off to the left. It was probably originally a farm accommodation Bridge.

Vandalism or art?
I think that the boring switchbox is improved by a good quality painting like this (even if the subject matter isn't to everyone's taste), but the graffiti on the right hand one is just that.
