Declining village services
An update on the Queen's Head in Fowlmere.
The pub closed in August 2012. Yet another village service lost. There are rumours of refurbishment and reopening but no sign of this yet.

Fowlmere: the former Queen's Head
The Grade II listed 17th-century house in the centre of the picture was, until it closed in 2012, The Queen's Head public house, one of three in the centre of the village. Keith Edkins' Image] shows it in 2008.
