Entering Fowlmere
The road is the B1368. Notice the entrance to a new housing development on the left. The ten new homes are initially available exclusively to residents of Fowlmere. They are supposed to be affordable and may be rented or shared ownership.

Fowlmere: mossed cottage on Thriplow Road
A picture taken due south and into the light on a March morning. The cottage's Grade II listing begins "Late C17 with later additions. Timber-framed and plastered, thatched roof, painted brick ridge stack to left of centre. Brick foundations. One storey and attic, three-unit plan, with slated rear outshut".
