Front porches, Wynn's Almshouses, Baldock High Street
On the west side of the High Street, towards its northern end. The almshouses carry the inscription 'Anno Domini 1621'.

Front doorway in the High Street, Baldock
The building is part of a terrace of Georgian houses, probably dating from about 1800. The ogee (double curve) decoration in the 'fanlight' is a Gothick touch. These houses are now fitted with shop-fronts of a later date; it would be interesting to know whether they replaced original features.
