Spirella Building
A view of this magnificent former corset factory, now a base for small businesses. To me this restoration shows how a great old building can be retained in all its glory, sympathetically modernised inside with high quality design, and thus serve a useful purpose in the twenty-first century.

The Spirella Building.
This would be to Letchworth what the Winking Bridge is to Gateshead or The Bullring to Birmingham, the single most readily identifiable building in town. Once a factory making women's corsets (I wonder if they also made men's) it is now offices and function rooms.
The picture only shows half of the building which is symmetrical. I couldn't stand far enough back to get it all in.
