Millennium Copse Marker Ickleford
I noticed this stone marker whilst out with the dog. Considering it has probably only been there 11 years it looks in great danger of vanishing so I have captured it on camera.

The river Hiz
It must be said that the view is deceptively bucolic as here the river runs by a sewage works and a scrapyard!

Metal Recycling Yard
Seen from a passing train on the grade separation line to Cambridge, this yard is operated by Nationwide Metal Recycling. Their trucks are fittingly painted in a copper colour!

Footpath sign, Cadwell Lane
Cadwell Lane is a private road and public footpath past the scrapyard. The footpath will be moved a little when the new Hitchin flyover is built.
