I noticed this stone marker whilst out with the dog. Considering it has probably only been there 11 years it looks in great danger of vanishing so I have captured it on camera.

A Cambridge bound train on the new flyover at Hitchin
Opened in 2013, the single track flyover was constructed at a cost of £40m. It was built to overcome line capacity problems caused by Cambridge trains having to cross the East Coast Main Line 'on the level' at the junction just north of Hitchin station.
