Holme: Yay, sprouts!
Christmas is a-coming and with it the seasonal battle of wills between parents and children about just how many sprouts they, the children that is, must eat... Good news for kids though is that sprouts are likely to be victims of the wet summer of 2007. The harvest is forecast to be down by between 15 and 20%, and they are reputedly likely to be both expensive and in short supply this winter. These massed ranks of the beasties are viewed from the road to Holme Mills with the buildings of Scroup's Farm on the horizon.
