Goal
Arlesey Town take the lead in a 2014 FA Trophy match against Wingate & Finchley. The low autumn sun made it difficult for the keeper to see and as a result he was late diving to save the low shot to his right. The home fans behind the goal are only just beginning to celebrate. On the right of the photo, across the fields to the east of the ground, is Fairfield Park, a new development on the outskirts of Letchworth Garden City.

Hampden House
Hampden House office block seems very out of place in the small town of Arlesey. The building do not look like it is currently in use.

Arlesey: The former Biggs Wall building
You can just about pick out the name of Biggs Wall underneath the roof parapet in the side wall above the fire escape stairs. Biggs Wall came to Arlesey in 1967 so the building probably dates from then but they were later subsumed into the Morrison group who still have a presence on the site. The building itself is now called Hampden House and is a business centre with floors and rooms let out to various enterprises.

Hampden House, Arlesey
Formerly an office building and now converted to residential use, this is a structure very much out of keeping with its surroundings: the rest of the village primarily comprises two and three storey brick houses. For a view before conversion, see Image

Dugouts at The Armadillo Stadium
A view of the manager's 'dugouts' on the east side of the Armadillo Stadium, home of Arlesey Town FC. I think that's the first time I've seen an exercise bike on the touchline!

The Biggs Wall building.
This local landmark was the offices of a large local construction company. The building is now let out as offices to smaller companies. It still fronts the area marked on the OS map as "works".
