East Coast Main Line at Arlesey (2)
A repeat of Dominic's Image from three years previously almost to the day, seemingly with no changes at all, and the view in the opposite direction to Image I think the box in the track on the left (the down fast line) is an Automatic Warning System (AWS) inductor.

The Old School, Arlesey
Now a piano dealer’s premises as well as a house. To get this view you have to stand on a handy piece of ‘street furniture’.

Pedestrian Level Crossing
I didn't know that many of these still existed. And no isolated back-water on a heritage steam railway, this. Every few minutes a GNER train hoots from a mile away and thunders through at 200 km/h. Judging by the amount of dog mess and beer cans the footpath is well trafficked too.

Friendly Swan
Obviously used to being treated kindly - the resident swan seems to enjoy human company.
