Down and Out, Waterloo
On one of the unused car ramps adjacent to Waterloo station these unfortunate people sat quietly in the road. One of them approached me and said in a broken voice "I don't drink alcohol, can you give me 50p?" The sides, walls, lamps , signs and ceiling of this part of the concrete jungle were completely covered in street art and graffiti. Several "artists" a few metres from me were busy with rattling paint sprays creating new art on top of old, while I took this photo.

View of the closed off end of Leake Street
Leake Street was closed to through traffic on 14 November 2008 when ownership of the road passed from Eurostar to Network Rail, following the closure of the Waterloo International Eurostar terminal in 2007. The graffiti began to appear in May 2008 when Banksy created a "Cans Festival" and other street artists have followed on since. Looking southeast.
