Demolition of Valentine's
After five years the site of this former pub on the corner of Long Lane (foreground) and Weston Street was finally cleared to make way for some new development. Compare Image See Image for the replacement building on the site.

New Sainsbury's Local on Long Lane, Bermondsey
A convenience store opened in March 2015 on the ground floor of a new block of apartments, on the corner of Weston Street. The site was formerly occupied by Valentines bar Image which had been empty since at least 2007 and was demolished in 2012.

Valentine's - love for sale?
The pub most recently known as Valentine's closed in 2007 and at the time of the photograph in June 2008 had signs saying "site sold for development". It looked like it would soon be no more. But the recession stopped any development of the site and it was not demolished until the end of 2012 Image
