Bermondsey Street
Bermondsey street was originally a causeway across marshland to the south of the River Thames giving access to Bermondsey Abbey. It later became an area associated with leather tanning and in recent years has regenerated as an artistic and commercial centre.

Big former warehouse enlivened by red brick and stone dressings. Heavy bracketed cornice. Loading bays and gantries survive. It was built as a tannery. Grade II listed.
