Unusual view westward from Tower Bridge Road, 1998
Below is the London Bridge City (Car) Park, or Potter's Fields, crowded with red North Kent Express buses - was there a Rail Strike on? On the right is part of the Hay's Galleria complex, built on the site of the former Hay's Wharf (closed 1970). To the left is Lambeth College (Tower Bridge Centre). Ahead and beyond is Guy's Hospital Tower and other skyscrapers including those of No. 1 London Bridge, but not yet the new (2002) City Hall that would dominate the scene now.
