Reflections on Battle Bridge Lane
The old warehouses that form Hay's galleria are reflected in the mirror glass on the opposite side of Battle Bridge Lane, creating a curious and rather surreal effect.

Modern London
Modern office buildings seem to be built with a lot of steel, glass and strangely false courtyards. This one, planted with tulip trees, and tree-like sculptures, seemed very artificial. There were thousands of people on the South Bank but no one walking through here.

Reflected Shard
Western Europe's tallest building, The Shard, is seen here reflected in the sheer glass panels of No.6 More London on Battle Bridge Lane. The discontinuities of the reflective surface result in the already spiky building appearing to have numerous subsidiary spikes, making it look even more like some fantastical tower from Lord of the Rings !
