Dark Lane above Cwm Alun
Meidr Dwyll (correctly Dywyll), the old saints' road, drops down to the valley of the Alun as it approaches the cathedral from the north. Supposedly, two pilgrimages to St David's were deemed to be equivalent to one to Rome, and three equal to a journey to Jerusalem.

Multiple nest boxes
This tree sports several nest boxes, awaiting habitation by birds that like company. Beyond the tree, the footpath is visible crossing the next field. Only a little way north of St David’s, this feels like open country.
