Between 'The Castle' and the castle
'The Castle' is an Iron Age bank and ditch system and the castle is Roch, a Medieval construction by Adam de Rupe who was reputedly killed by an adder. The view is across fields and over the rooftop of Long Island farm.

Lane to nowhere
The lane to the left once skirted the iron age fort and led to the village of Keeston. It now comes to an abrupt end. Keeston is reached by the lane to the right that edges the south boundary.
