Overgrown sidings on the down (southbound) side of Haverfordwest railway station. Despite their run-down appearance, the sidings are still in use as a Network Rail depot.
Haverfordwest station is on the former Great Western Railway (GWR) line from Swansea. The route divides at Clarbeston Road Junction (see [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1524533] ); one branch serves Haverfordwest and Milford Haven, the other serves the ferry terminal at Fishguard.
Haverfordwest station is managed by Arriva Trains Wales who operate most of the passenger services. Arriva runs an hourly service from Manchester Piccadilly as far Carmarthen: this service is extended to Haverfordwest and Milford Haven every two hours.

Accessed from platform 1 via a footbridge, part of which is on the left. In May 2018, platform 2 is not normally used. Most trains in both directions use platform 1 which is adjacent to the station entrance/exit and ticket office.

12.23pm departure for Milford Haven at Haverfordwest
Viewed in mid April 2014. The Arriva Trains Wales multiple unit left Manchester Piccadilly at 6.30am. It now awaits the 12.23pm departure for the terminus at Milford Haven, with a stop at Johnston at 12.31. After a scheduled arrival at Milford at 12.48, the train will make the return trip. Scheduled departure from Milford is at 1.08pm with arrival at Manchester Piccadilly at 7.15pm.
