Speed-activated sign east of Waunarlwydd
I waited for a few minutes at the edge of the B4295 Cwmbach Road to see this sign illuminate, but gave up after several cars passed by with no effect. As I crossed the road, the sign lit up! http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3672187

Speed-activated sign illuminated by a pedestrian east of Waunarlwydd
After waiting for a few minutes on the opposite side of the road to see the sign illuminate as a car sped by, I gave up as cars appeared to be travelling within the speed limit. As I crossed the road, with no car nearby, the sign lit up!

Construction in Fforestfach Estate
Corporation Road in Swansea's Fforestfach industrial estate runs through undeveloped land. Access to the road has been blocked off with huge boulders and concrete blocks. On the maps the road has many junctions leaving it that go nowhere. It must have been created with the intention of extending the estate. New signs are in place, directing visitors as if the road were already open. This is the view southwest from one of dead end junctions, across the wastelends to where construction has started.
