An attractive pair of houses built of a deep red brick. I like the two-storey bay windows and the yellow brick band on one of the garden walls. South Road is also called Stryd y Fro.

Chalybeate Well
A plaque by the entrance reads FYNNON GOCH CHALYBEATE WELL 1881. A well or spring with iron content reputed to have curative powers had its building added in 1881 with benches so that visitors could sit and drink the water raised by a pump.

Hard to date, with a mixture of styles, but I would guess early 20C. I like the iron railings.
