The grounds of Llwyngwair Manor
The house is visible from the road but the caravan park is not, only the sweep of smooth grass designed to impress approaching visitors when it was the Bowen family estate.

Llwyngwair Mill
Beautifully restored former corn mill attached to the Llwyngwair estate, with a water-wheel behind. No longer working but the home to an important colony of greater horseshoe bats. The old grindstone can be seen in the centre of Newport

Newport: postbox № SA65 26
An Edward VII-reign postbox set into the wall outside the entrance to Llwyngwair. It is emptied finally at 11 o'clock each weekday and Saturday morning.

Circular lodge at Llwyngwair
The rooms inside the building are circular too. It stands at the main entrance to the estate on the Newport-Cardigan Road. One of the gate pillars to the left (not shown) is dated 1891 - possibly the date of this building too?

Llwyngwair caravan park
The parkland to the south of the mansion is dominated by Mynydd Carningli: this must have been a glorious view before the arrival of the caravans.
Sheep are keeping the grass cropped in advance of the holiday season.
