Coal from the Washery
The morning coal service waits to depart from the exchange sidings. A mixture of wagons make up the train consist. This is domestic coal for distribution around the country for home fires. It's a long while now since any coal has been collected by rail from this loading point. Pictured from the road crossing at this village location. No one was in any hurry to depart back to Swansea.
