Myrtle House, Llanelli
Myrtle House is the home of Llanelli's Elim Penticostal Church. As well as providing meeting facilities, the centre also has an accredited day care and nursery facility, a conference centre, a counselling service and a senior citizen's lunch facility.
The church relocated here quite recently after the previous building needed to be demolished as part of Llanelli's ongoing modernisation. Previously the location was a nunnery.

Down Prendergast Street
Running parallel with Bigyn Hill. Numbers 8 to 14 visible on the left. Stradey Woods visible in the far distance.
The name Prendergast is Flemish in origin and is believed to come from the 'lost' Norman/Flemish village of Brontegeest. It came to Britain with a follower of Duke William after the conquest who was given lands near Haverfordwest.
