Old building on Pilots Wharf
I would be interested to know something about this building next to the Pilots' Lookout. Was it a dwelling house or did it have some dock-related function?

Tawe crossings
Looking downstream along the River Tawe. Taken from the sail bridge Image], towards the former railway bridge which linked the former South Dock with the main Swansea dock complex.
The original Swansea Harbour & Improvement Trust soon changed their name to Swansea Harbour Trust.
(Much more respectable initials!!!)

Mooring bollard at Swansea marina
Some of the original bollards here are dated over 100 years old. The black and white stripes are presumably to enhance visibility at night.

Entrance lock to Tawe Basin marina, Swansea
This is the lock giving entrance to the marina in a former commercial dock that has long since been redeveloped. The accumulator tower of a former hydraulic pump house is seen in the background. The National Waterfront Museum is beyond.
