Steam winding engine, Cefn Coed
Worsley Mesnes winding engine preserved at Cefn Coed and capable of being turned by an electric motor. I believe this is the only one by this maker that is currently accessible. The larger one at Chatterley Whitfield is ordinarily inaccessible.

The headgear of both shafts were dismantled in late 2016 because of concerns about their state of repair. They are listed, however, and should be restored in due course.

Cefn Coed Colliery Museum - haulage engine
This shows the former upcast shaft head gear across the cross compound steam haulage engine that formerly worked a drift at Morlais Colliery. I hope some paint is going to be applied to the head gear before it disintegrates.
