Waste land, reclaimed by nature
Lots of wild flowers, probably initially sown, but now managing itself. A pleasant spot, despite the copious litter behind me, overlooking the city to the west. The hills of the Peak District on the far horizon.

War Memorial, Tinsley Park Cemetery
Situated in Image at the top of the hill, this memorial is dedicated to all those who gave their lives in the 1914-18 conflict. Looking at it, guess which way the wind was blowing!

B & Q Warehouse, Greenland Road
This site was previously a massive post-war bus depot for Sheffield Transport, then Mainline. First Group had no need for it and B & Q moved onto the site. In less than 10 years the site has proved to be too ambitious. The car park is rarely anywhere near full, and the floor space within the store is being drastically reduced.
