East Coast Road railway bridge, Attercliffe
The Sheffield to Rotherham railway crosses East Coast Road on a plate girder bridge (TJC1/79) mounted on blue brick abutments. A colony of height restriction signs appears to flourishing here.

Fish pass on Sanderson's Weir
The installation of this fish pass in 2020 meant that for the first time in 200 years salmon have a fully joined up river so that they can get to spawning grounds in the centre of Sheffield. This was celebrated by a sculpture sited in front of Sheffield railway station Image
