Sheffield Supertram crossing canal
The Sheffield Supertram crosses the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation close to Staniforth Road as both head off towards Meadowhall. The tram gets there quicker because the canal has to descend a flight of locks although both run pretty much side by side for most of the journey. This view along the canal is ENE, almost in the shadow of the road bridge.

Attercliffe Footbridge 6A, Sheffield and Tinsley Canal
This footbridge passes over the canal and goes into the side of the factory opposite, through a doorway that appears now to be boarded up. On the right hand edge can be seen the B6200 Staniforth Road bridge. Taken during the Geograph Conference 2012 first guided walk.

Building with blind arches
An aerial view shows that the brickwork alongside the canal is now only a facade, in front of a metal-roofed building (the roof can just be seen in this view). It has at some time had a small jetty or loading point on the canal.
