Carbrook Hall, Sheffield (1988)
A historic house in the Attercliffe district of the city. The building was used as a Roundhead meeting place during the siege of Sheffield Castle. It is now a public house that claims to be "Sheffield's most haunted public house".

Carbrook Hall in Sheffield
An historic building situated in the Attercliffe area of the city. The mullion and transom windows are the only obvious external giveaway to the building's age but a visit inside reveals much more - including some fabulous wood panelling and carvings.

Starbucks in Carbrook Hall
The drive through coffee house opened in 2019 in this grade II listed building that dates from the 17th century. It was previously a public house and is reputed to be haunted. See Image for changes since 1988 and Image for 2012

Abbey National offices at Carbrook
Now Santander, but still Abbey National at time this picture was taken. Some may recall an old Abbey National logo that was a young couple beneath an umbrella with the canopy shaped like a house roof. This building's roof lines echo that iconic image, still in use at the time it was built - about 2000 from memory.
