Modern milestone
On Attercliffe Common on the Sheffield to Rotherham road this new milestone was set up late 2017/early 2018. It is made of fine sandstone with broaching on the arched top. Within a few weeks the plate was stolen. By September 2018 it had been replaced.

Modern milestone
On Attercliffe Common a newer photo of the stone with its plate on the bevel replaced. This stone has picked up some traffic grime since installation in late 2017/early 2018.

A specimen of the commonplace 'Type K' postbox which was introduced in 1980. This one is emptied finally at 6pm on weekdays and at 10:30am on Saturdays.
