On the Sheffield & Tinsley Canal, getting near the M1. Wasteland with buddleia, common centaury (the 5 petalled pink flower). Further on there are apple trees, and roses; a veritable garden.

Springtime for crack willow, Tinsley canal
This is more the sort of plant life I like to see along a canal, rather than Japanese Knot weed. I hope there is success with reducing the spread and prevalence of that wretched weed.

Rabbits, fishermen's cars, walkers and cyclists - we all use this bit sometimes as it catches the sun where the towpath is in shade.

Tramlines and roadbridge at Tinsley, Sheffield
I hoped a bus would go across the bridge at the same time. When the tram system was first mooted and built, it was planned to reach Barnsley and Rotherham who helped with the cost. It's not that long ago that the cost to Barnsley and Rotherham was waived as the tram stops at Meadowhall shopping centre with no plans to expand for the foreseeable future..
