Milestone Society National ID: NT_BMMT03, erected by the Barnby Moor to Rotherham turnpike trust formed in 1826. Listed Grade II. West side, with heavily eroded inscription, originally Barnby Moor 3 miles. The latter was where this turnpike joined the Retford to Bawtry turnpike section of the Great North Road.

Carved stone post by the A634, in parish of BLYTH (BASSETLAW District), Sheffield Road; 90m South of Ivy Cottages, in pavement against building, on West side of road. Barnby Maltby stone, erected by the Barnby Moor to Rotherham turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-

Grade II listed.

Former gateway to Blyth Hall
Built c.1770 as part of the improvements to the Hall, probably by John Carr of York, Listed Grade II. Effectively the last remains of the Hall, which was demolished in 1972.
