A1 North traffic jam
Leading up to Blyth roundabout which is being removed as part of a major roadworks programme from Peterborough to Blyth. The south section of the road eliminating the roundabout had just opened today or at least in the last few days.

Former Leper Hospital of St.John the Evangelist
This building on the green in Blyth, started as a Leper hospital, re-founded in 1226, rebuilt in 1446 and had become a school by 1695. By 1964 it was derelict, but rescued and converted using a fund "inspired and established by the late Enid Pegler in memory of her husband Francis".
