Station Road, Creswell
The National Rail sign stands at the end of Station Road at its junction with Elmton Road with Welbeck Street straight ahead. The graffiti on the telephone box slightly mars this otherwise tidy scene. The solid brick wall on the left belongs to a former cinema, now a bingo hall.

Creswell railway station, Derbyshire
Opened in 1886 by the Midland Railway on the line from Nottingham to Worksop, this station closed in 1964. It was reopened in 1998. View south towards Langwith-Whaley Thorns and Nottingham. The original station building is just beyond the end of the replacement southbound platform, not being part of the modern station.

Creswell railway station
Looking towards Worksop. The house style of the stations rebuilt or refurbished for the reopening of the Robin Hood Line is evident in the platform surfaces and lighting, although this platform is unusual in having two lights per column.
