Park House
The oldest part of the house – the central section with the bay window – dates back to the 1760s. The wing in the foreground followed in 1847/8, and the rendered wing at the far end was added in the late 19th century. Listed Grade II. Not easy to photograph with the sun directly facing the camera!

Church of St Mary, Park Street
Roman Catholic Church, built in 1838 for the Duke of Norfolk, an adherent to the Catholic faith. Listed Grade II. This is the entrance off Park Street. There is a bench mark http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4691380 on the wall to the left of the gateway.
