Ship Inn
This historic inn has unfortunately been out of use for some time. The extended bay on the corner is 20th century, but beyond this the building is a timber framed structure dating back to the 16th century, of which a number of internal features also survive. Listed Grade II*.

Former Market Square, Worksop, Notts.
The latest version of the Savoy cinema is adjacent to the former town hall, in the former Market Square area. It opened in 2012 and is a ‘six screens’ establishment. Its predecessor, in Gatefold Road, existed between 1914-1960, using ‘The Savoy’ as its name from 1940 onwards and is now home to a post office.
