Ship Inn
This historic inn has unfortunately been out of use for some time. The extended bay on the corner is 20th century, but beyond this the building is a timber framed structure dating back to the 16th century, of which a number of internal features also survive. Listed Grade II*.

Its predecessor, in Gatefold Road, existed between 1914-1960, using ‘The Savoy’ as its name from 1940 onwards and is now home to a post office.
