Limes Avenue
Part of a small estate of brick-built, angular and mainly flat-roofed homes built in the 1960s. They all had a carport - not a garage - and open planned fronts. They were designed on the "American" system of sleeping dowstairs and living upstairs to enjoy the view. When built they were open plan and extremely modern.
