Tinker's Pond
Urban legend says that the two ponds are bottomless. Not sure about that, however we saw a Roach being caught. Walking further down you come to a bridge over the old Barnsley canal, Martin Speck photo shows this Image

The southern end of the Greenfoot Bleach Works site
Set up by Joseph Beckett to bleach locally woven linen, some time before the Barnsley Canal opened here in 1802. Now crossed by a public footpath heading to Croft Farm.
