The Oriel Window - Royston Parish Church
The unusual pentagonal oriel window in the west wall of the Church tower. The tower itself dates from the 1480’s, though there is some evidence of the existence of an earlier tower. The present clock mechanism was installed to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897, the faces were restored in the 1970’s.
