Harold "Dickie" Bird MBE Statue
Famous cricket umpire from Barnsley, statue unveiled Tuesday 30th June 2009. Standing at the end of Church Lane, where Dickie used to live near St Mary's Church. The statue backs onto the roundabout for Huddersfield Road A635.

Clearly quite an old building but I have been unable to unearth any details of it. The stone lintel of the doorway carries raised lettering displaying "THE SHEFFIELD TELEGRAPH." and "RED RAILWAY GUIDE."
