The 2014 Tour de France started in Yorkshire and on day 2 finished in Sheffield. To promote the event yellow bikes, both real and artificial, were painted yellow and placed at various locations on the route. This one in the village of High Bradfield.

Bradfield in Bloom waiting for 'Le Grand D?part'
The 2014 Tour de France started in Yorkshire and on day 2 finished in Sheffield. To promote the event reclaimed yellow bikes were painted yellow and placed at various locations on the route. This impressive display incorporates the colours of the Tricolour. This is a few hours before the cyclists passed by. It was a little busier than when visited a couple of days earlier.Image
