Hellaby Hall - a seventeenth century manor house
The picture is a little deceptive for now the old hall is merely the frontispiece of a bustling modern hotel and just beyond the trees to the left there is a large scale industrial estate.

Hellaby Hall
Country Hotel built in a Dutch-Jacobean style in 1692, mainly with local 'Roche Abbey' magnesian limestone. As is common with old country piles such as this it has an interesting backstory which can be read here: http://www.hellabyhallhotel.co.uk/history/
