Old Milestone by the B6376, High Street, Braithwell
Stone post by the B6376, in parish of Braithwell (Doncaster District), High Street, junction with Ashton Lane and Maltby Lane, opposite the Cross.
Inscription reads:-

Old guidestone/milestone
In the village of Braithwell near Rotherham is this stone on High Street at the corner of Ashton Lane opposite the Cross. It may have been engraved To Rotherham 8 and To Ravenfield (along Ashton Lane). The stone may have been taller but is now set in concrete. By 2020 that has resulted to damage from vehicle strike at this narrow corner. Grade II listed 334778.
