The old Wharncliffe Works building, Sheffield
Yes, words fail me. An old work that produced grates, fenders, hearths and the like I believe, in its heyday.

Former Wharncliffe Works, Green Lane, Sheffield
Built c1861 for Steel & Garland, manufacturers of stoves, grates and fenders. There's specialism for you. Two of the original three blocks forming a triangular plan survive. Decoration was reserved for the door and cart entrance (Image]). Grade II listed. The buildings appear to have been slowly rotting since the late 1980s when the last occupants left.

On Cornish Street, Neepsend
Looking to Cornish Place. Cornish Place is a listed building. It was formerly the factory of James Dixon & Sons, a Britannia metal, Sheffield plate and cutlery manufacturer. In the late 1990s the disused building was cleaned and converted into apartments. It is regarded as the most impressive cutlery works still standing in Sheffield.
